Go for it!

As a father of 3 girls and a doctor, I am thrilled to be able to support a program like Get Animated! Building the proper eating and exercise habits as a kid can set you up for a lifetime of good health, so there's no better time to start than right now!

Everyday we're confronted with decisions - soda or water? Pizza or salad? Stay on the couch or run around outside? If you think about it, you already know the right answers to all of those questions! Just an hour of running around can help you get fit, stay more focused in school, make friends and develop life-long good health habits. If sports aren't your thing, no problem! Just try taking a walk for 30 minutes a day! Walk the dog, walk around the neighborhood with your parents or your friends - its that easy to stay fit.

In the kitchen and at school, make sure your eating healthy foods. Carrots and celery can be a great alternative to salty chips - and water or juice can be a great alternative to sugary soda!

So, get outside, get active, and get fit!!
